The Quest for More Moolah = Rushed, Buggy Games

Game Podunker DanCurtis writes, "The next step is vital in a franchise - as it is then time for the developer to begin the sequel, and a lot is riding on it being as good as the previous entry. Alas, this is often not the case. Desperate to cash in on the first game's significant sales, the new sequel can often be neglected, rushed, and filled with bugs, making the game a much worse experience than it could have been if a little more time was taken and it was delayed another few months or so..."
