Fable 3 Review - PlanetXbox360

With Sony delaying many of its first-party releases, Microsoft seemingly has this holiday season in the bag. The Kinect and its onslaught of motion-sensitive games will keep buyers happy; Halo: Reach will no doubt find plenty of buyers between the fans downloading the new maps and the newcomers eager to see where the story began; and the third-party titles, including Rock Band 3 and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, hold plenty of promise. In the midst of all this multi-console stuff, Fable III is hitting store shelves only on the Xbox 360, a worthwhile follow-up to Lionhead Studios’ previous Fable game. It impresses just as much as that game, with a whopping amount of customization, side quests and other goods to keep you venturing through Albion well into the new year. The game’s events follow 50 years after Fable II’s, with the king’s son overtaking the thrown and usurping power into his evil grasp.

Can't agree more - loved Fable 3, but it's not a perfect game - still a great Holiday Xbox 360 exclusive though!

Playing after Force Unleashed 2, sounds like it is a tad better than Fable 2.

Will be picking this one up...

...and it's fantastic...nothing else like it either. So far, I'd give it a solid 8.5/10...maybe a 9 by the time I'm finished. Graphically, they really put in more attention to detail; the new lighting, water, particle/smoke effects, Alan Wake-style trees....all really add up to a gorgeous game.

"With Sony delaying many of its first-party releases, Microsoft seemingly has this holiday season in the bag"

It's a fricking fable 3 review , keep that kind of crap in your opinion pieces and fake news .

It got nothing to do with the game

and the authors ultimaender, of course they'll take a jab at the PS3

fanboys calling themselves "journalists" with websites pass on N4G as real gaming websites, but thats proof that they aren't.

and that quote it wrong. This holiday is still seeing GT5, the only 2 games delayed were LBP2 (due to perfecting it) and Socom 4 (due to perfecting / not over cluttering holiday season with games)

MS release Fable III, Sony release GT5. 1 game each.

just cheap fanboy banter from a pointless unknown website, don't get too hung up over it baka =)

P.S I know UltimaEnder will disagree with me, as will 1 or 2 other of his collegues from his website, not to mention any rabid 360 fanboy like the odd N4G mutli-account user or a few others, doesn't change the fact that what I'm stating is the truth =)

wierd review.. start talking about other games and other systems...

SpideyNut2913d ago (Edited 2913d ago )

- Halo Reach
- Fable III
- Kinect (will be a hot holiday item, unlike Move)
- $200 pricepoint + bundled deals
- and COD, which always sells 2:1 over PS3, with the MP most-played on XBL.

- no LBP
- no Killzone 3
- (likely) no GT5
- no PS3 price drop
- no Uncharted

He's actually got a valid point.

Move is already a "hot holiday item" - I guess you missed that though.

Why the list of non-releases?

360 - no GeoW3, No Halo 4, no Forza 4, no AW2

See - a list of games never planned to be released - so what?

Get a clue dude.

why do you guys care so much more about what's available or not on ps3 , than ,you know , enjoying fable 3 on its own ? .

That's how silly the article and guys like you sounds , as usual
