I do and I love it. Creating your own character makes every game just a little bit better.

Sure games with own heroes are still the best, but a game where YOU are the hero are as fun.

In rpg's I'll even go as far as wear inferior gear if it looks cooler to the new/better stuff.

Yes I do the same exact thing! I wish some of the better armor has the looks to match its specs

Not bad blog and yeah wolfam1 I agree more games need the create a character feature. Is a nice feature especially when is deep and allows your imagination to go wild.

I won't start an RPG character creater unless my wife is there to help me design my character. There's nothing worse than playing a 80hr+ RPG when your not happy with something about the way your character looks.
