whoa black ops got a 5/5 for multiplayer???

Shackdaddy8364986d ago (Edited 4986d ago )

And a 5/5 for SP ....

deadreckoning6664986d ago (Edited 4986d ago )

Not surprised. I know I've been seeming overly enthusiastic about Black Ops. But from what I've been seeing, Treyarch is refining the COD 4 formula and making a game that I think without a doubt will surpass COD4, which is still considered to be the best multiplayer shooter this generation for many gamers.

@Shackdaddy836- It got a 4/5 for single player which is an awesome score.

mmoracerules4986d ago

The single-player campaign gets 4 out of 5 stars; it's COD, but it does enough new and fresh to keep you hooked. The tech gets a huge 5 out of 5, saying the 3D helps it to become the best looking COD game yet. And the online?

5 out of 5.
Fallout: New Vegas - 8
Medal Of Honor - 8
Lara Croft and the Guardian Of Light - 9
Def Jam Rapstar - 8
Saw II - 6
WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011 - 8
Racket Sports (Move) - 2 (OUCH!)
Vanquish - 8
EA Sports MMA - 7

Just saved your time...

Winter47th4986d ago (Edited 4986d ago )

Please don't do that again, those sites live on clicks and you're practically stealing their effort. There's no time to be wasted when it comes to just one URL click.

Solidus187-SCMilk4986d ago (Edited 4986d ago )

those sites suck balls and are just telling us of a different magazines scores for hits. Its not like its their reviews, its from PSM uk.

You should make your complaint to the site as they are taking away potential customers of the magazine that these reviews come from.

visualb4985d ago

this site stole info from a magazine, which in turn is equally as needy of buyers

stealing from this site is basically stealing from the thief,

PhilipLarkin4986d ago

You didn't save me time. You just killed a websites dream.

WHY!??!??!?! WHY!?!?!?! WWWHHHYYYY?!

user94220774986d ago

A website who can't name a game's name properly (Medal of Honor >> "Medal Of Honour") should be dreaming for a very long time.

PhilipLarkin4986d ago

The website spelt it right. I put a U in there. Sorry - it's hard to remember you guys randomly throw away letters =P

Pennywise4986d ago

Seems like (judging by your submissions) he killed your dream too. I am guessing that is your site Phillip?

I normally would not agree with posting an articles body on N4G comments, but Solidus is right. You don't deserve clicks because you posted PSM UK's scores. If mmoracerules stole your hits... you stole from PSM sales.

Ozzyb4986d ago (Edited 4986d ago )

continue to do that. I don't like clicking on sites I've never heard of and you saved me the time/risk. So, thanks! I like how we are suddenly concerned with a site getting hits... unless it's your site Winter...

Edit: Also, exactly what Solidus said. Bubbles.

thematrix12984986d ago

You are a goof for not knowing both are correct spelling. Just like Color and Colour.

user94220774986d ago

Some people actually, literally amaze me with their sheer stupidity.

Honor and Honour are used in the US and UK,respectively, however, I was referring to the game's name which is referred to as Medal of Honor worldwide.

I traded in Medal of Honor today for like £30 (price match with CeX at Gamestation)..

Why..? Well because, I already own two games that are just like it & play better also.. Bad Company 2 & Modern Warfare 2.

Plus, Now I can use the money to get CoD: Black Ops. :)

thematrix12984986d ago

I wasn't too impressed after playing MoH beta. I wanted a game to challenge and beat COD but this MoH will not. DICE should stick to large map BF gaming style they are horrible in tight game play like COD.

foss34986d ago

I hated the beta but really enjoy the multiplayer of MoH. It's quite fun and honestly it plays more like BFBC2 than MW2.

CrzyFooL4986d ago

silly brits putting U in Honor!! Learn to spell it American!! Git r done!!

All Call of Duty Black Ops Games Ranked

Black ops 4, because it was the last cod of duty I was able to dominate with a +2 k/d ratio. Before all the freaking cheating started to happen. It was nice catching people off guard and shooting at them first and getting the kill. Unlike now, where I shoot people first, but they gun me down with less hits, less time, literally feels like they can kill me in a split second. At times, they are able to run away after me shooting them way more than necessary, yet, the second I'm spotted, I'm dead, there's no me running away to cover. They can do cartwheels, summersaults, backflips and gun you down perfectly. They can shoot you across the map with perfect accuracy. They can jump around like morons and gun you down without even having to correct their aim. They have superman split second perfect reactions. That's the best way to describe it, everything they do is spot on perfect. They can spam and spray (no praying) their gun from far away, because they have no recoil or bullet spread. It always feels like I have to aim and also correct my aim when moving around, while these pricks don't have to do the same.

And yes, I know how to play fps games. I dominated many fps games like: Resistance 1&2, kz 2&3, Socom, MAG, Crysis, Gotham City Impostors, blitz brigade etc. all with 2-4 k/d ratio. Kz2 (lag input controls) and resistance (no aim assist in resistance) being the hardest and were the games I reached either close to a 3 k/d ratio or above.

I truly got to enjoy blacks ops 4 and got my money's worth out of it. Afterwords, I would either stop playing cod games after a while, because of the cheating, or would skip buying cod games for a year or two before buying another.

Games That Were Bad on Release, But Are Now Great

BLG writes, "Some of the most popular games have had a rough start, with some of them being downright unplayable.

Despite that, developers have managed to turn it around for them and make their game worth playing. Here are some games that had a rough start but were pretty great."

Good list..hoped to see Street Fighter 5 there..and it is.

Vits44d ago (Edited 44d ago )

Sea of Thieves... I'm not disagreeing that the game has improved in terms of content. But I feel that the most significant change between now and its release is actually the public perception. Nowadays, most people are aware that the game is a multiplayer PvP-focused experience first and foremost, and not "Black Flag made by Rare". Consequently, people dismissing the whole experience because the single-player aspect is lacking or the story is plain are much less common.

darthv7244d ago

Several years ago, i submitted an idea to Rare that would change up the mechanics of battling opponents in the game. whereby if you died in battle, you turned into a skeleton warrior and had to fight your way back to the land of the living. It was an interesting twist on respawning and would allow the player to experience both sides of a battle.

I keep hoping to see something like that get added to the game.

Kaii44d ago

They consider FO 76 & ME Andromeda to be great now 🤭

anast44d ago

Every game in the last 2 decades...

INMATEofARKHAM43d ago

It's sad that this quick retort is more often than not true... The industry's acceptance of release and patch has gone too far.

gunnerforlife43d ago

Days gone! By the end of the game I couldn't drop it down! I went around so many hours killing zombies! It was addictive by the end.

S2Killinit43d ago

That game was just plain good game. It didnt improve, it was just good.

gunnerforlife43d ago

I don't know, I got it abit late, and struggled for a few days, and then all of a sudden it just got good!!

Remembering Medal Of Honor: The Forgotten Master Of WW2 Games

Ibrahim from eXputer: "The Medal of Honor franchise was once the crown jewel of FPS war games, later defeated by the tides of time and poor development."

banger8856d ago

They tried to turn it into Call of Duty and it killed it off. They should reboot it and go back to it's roots. But they'd ruin it with online-only/multiplayer style bullshit so why bother? I have very fond memories of these games, but this series can stay dead as far as I'm concerned.

FPS_D3TH55d ago

Was literally just thinking of this game the other week with the secret nut cracker mission and the shooting Bismarck dog lmao. Loved these games as a kid

PrecursorOrb55d ago (Edited 55d ago )

I wish they’d remake warfighter

Strictly for the campaign

The_Hooligan55d ago

I have fond memories of playing the Medal of Honor Breakthrough MP Demo. It had two maps and custom servers. Living on campus, I had it downloaded on one of the PC Lab servers so I could access it on any computer at the university. Joined a clan and made friends that I still keep in touch with today.
