Final Fantasy X and MGS 2 are two of my top four favorite games for the PS2's whole lifespan not just 2000-2001. Pretty good list except I hate Ico.

Madden NFL 2001-2002, Grand Theft Auto 3, Metal GearSolid 2, Devil May Cry, NBA Street, Twisted Metal Black, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3, NHL 2001-2002( Better than NHL 08-11)
