Adam has had a little time with FF XIV, so how does it play so far? "Before I get to the good parts that make up Final Fantasy XIV, let get my issues out the way as it’ll be in poor taste for this to end on a bad note. The registration process didn’t quite go as planned and was far from smooth. I realised I cancelled out of it midway through, so had to use the website account to finish off later on. The areas you would expect these options to be in are misleading rather than mislabelled. As your account is separate from your subscription, you have to go through up to three different menus to simply register the credit or debit card, another to finally find and confirm your product key, and then the cheek of it to go through another menu to ‘add character(s)’."
