In-depth Review: NBA 2K11 - Electronic Theatre

Also available for Xbox 360, Wii, PC, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable (PSP), here on PlayStation 3 NBA 2K11 makes grand use of the recently released PlayStation Move motion-controller. Though a small amount of practice with the PlayStation Move control system results in a surprisingly tactile alternative method, it’s hard to shake the feeling that the decision to include the technology in the final build is for little more effect than the gimmick to draw-in new adopters of the technology, as opposed to fans of the game series or sport. Given another year of development time the PlayStation Move control system is likely to become a highlight of 2K Games’ NBA 2K series, but for now it simply feels too loose when compared to a basic DualShock 3 set-up.
