Square Enix Tries to Fix Final Fantasy XIV Market System

IGN writes: "Those playing Final Fantasy XIV will find a slightly tweaked version of Square Enix's messy market system has been implemented with the latest patch. The Market Wards serve as the central method of distributing items in this fantasy MMO, where players can set up computer controlled companions called retainers to stand around and serve as storefronts for other players looking to purchase items. Previously these Market Wards were a number of individual instances with no particular organization, and since there's no global item search in the game you had to basically visit every single NPC retainer and hope they had what you're looking for."
