Golden Joysticks UK Developer Of The Year: Media Molecule

EDGE: "Few firstparty developers exude the independent spirit of Media Molecule. Despite being wholly owned by Sony, the small company formed by ex-Lionhead employees has yet to lose its fresh-faced start-up attitude. While Media Molecule's work on Rag Doll Kung Fu brought them to the attention of the Japanese giant, it was the revolutionary LittleBigPlanet that secured the studio a place in history."

Lazy_Gamer3286d ago

They deserve it. Very talented studio.

Hades13373286d ago

Do they? They didn't even release a game this year!

Cloudberry3286d ago (Edited 3286d ago )

And that doesn't stop for them getting Golden Joysticks UK Developer Of The Year.

Paradise Lost3286d ago (Edited 3286d ago )

They really deserved this! I voted for them =D

trevonn953286d ago

they dint release a game

lolzers3286d ago (Edited 3286d ago )

This is true. They've released 2 games haven't they? Neither of which were out this year.

Codemasters should have won it for Formula 1 2010.

Si-Fly3286d ago

That's the funniest comment I've read all week! Award a developer for delivering the most bug ridden racer ever, priceless.

lolzers3286d ago (Edited 3286d ago )

Far better than a company that didn't release a game in the year.

Might as well get rid of the award.

This sums up my feelings about the game better than I could

Theonik3286d ago

Wait so by your logic it is better to release a bug ridden game than delaying your game to next year so that you can give your players a more polished experience? Codemasters definitely doesn't deserve the tittle.

Sorry Si-Fly, but the buggiest racer ever is still Big Rigs. If anyone dares to release something worse than that, I might have to commit murder.
