"New multiplayer modes like gun game, wager matches and “Nova Zombies” look to be worth the $60 purchase alone and if that’s not enough for you don’t buy the game."

That does not alone equal $60...

I will buy the game but I will probably play those modes like twice.

I will only get the game because of the Zombie mode.

Ive spent probably about 75-100 hours playing all of the nazi zombies on CoD WaW. It's absolutely brilliant. NZ alone for me was worth the $60. I guess I'll see what type of zombie modes thet'll have, to determine when to buy it.

To each their own I guess. I've spent 100s of hours on gun game in CSS I'm assuming it will be the same for me in Black Ops. My gf loves to play strip nazi zombies so that's always a plus.

All modern shooters are copies of... Modern Warfare?

Did this guy just start gaming ~4 years back?

vickers5003290d ago

I don't think he meant that literally. He probably meant that the success and popularity of CoD4 has spawned many military fps clones, which might never have been made if CoD4 wasn't so popular.

" Infinity Ward took a franchise known for it's WWII based FPS games and turned it into a full blown kick-ass modern military style blood bath."

So then how the hell is it called Call of Duty? The title even refers to The Call of Duty, the fact that soldiers were called upon to serve their countries. Now it's like some cheap action movie.
