GameZebo - Shibuya Review

GameZebo - It's not hard to imagine that those behind Shibuya probably thrive on a sense of order. A trip around their respective abodes would no doubt uncover neatly stacked book shelves, DVDs all stood up in alphabetical order, and dirty dishes washed, dried and put back in their cupboards within seconds. In short, Shibuya is an OCD sufferer's paradise, effectively playing the role of that pile of rubbish that you never quite finish cleaning.

This whole list is odd.

The fact that they didn't include Flower in the list is a big, fat fail. That is one of the most Zen-inspiring games of this entire generation.

I played Zen Bound 1, and it's actually pretty entertaining. Though perhaps I missed the pout by listening to speed death metal at the time.

Recently released independent game, Nevercenter's Shibuya is a challenging and fast-paced color matching puzzle game that features a vibrant art style that draws influence from its visually-striking namesake, Tokyo's Shibuya district.

The iOS title tasks players with matching colored blocks within a single column, and players must focus on combos and chain reactions if they hope to succeed.

Shibuya is the first game from Nevercenter, a team who had previously only released 3D modeling and photo-manipulation software.

AppSpy: Shibuya Review

AppSpy: 'shibuya' is a neat new concept that tickles the brain in to thinking in new ways for bigger and better matches, but once you've come to grips with it the game can start to feel a bit sparse.
