New IPs are key to keeping industry vibrant, says publisher
The real ones to blame are Ninja Theory for making it that way. Also, I don't think Namco should be talking about what games are stale and which aren't considering they release everything but the Tales of series in the West. Seems to me like every game they publish in the West has been stale.
Your comment is stale, troll. Enslaved is like a breath of fresh air. Its nice to know there are dedicated developer out there who aren't purely concerned with Shooters, and who pride themselves with great single-player experiences with wonderful narratives and character development, along with great gameplay.
You should check out Majin, it's coming out next month from Namco and looks about as unique as you can get. Every company makes shovelware (EA and Ubisoft especially), so I don't think it's fair to call out one dev like that.
While I definitely agree with you on Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, I must respectfully disagree with your stance on EA and Ubisoft. With games like Mirror's Edge, From Dust, Raving Rabbids, Assassin's Creed, and other innovative IPs, how can you say that their making shovelware?
enslaved is awesome, playing thorugh it now I have completed castelevania
From start to finish Enslaved was a wonderful experience.
