Gears 3 And Bulletstorm Will Be “Proof” Consoles Are Not Maxed Out Says Dev

Who said consoles are maxed out? You said that? Okay, just give Epic Games and People Can Fly a few more months and watch their respective games blow that notion out of the water. We know PS3 isn't maxed out yet.

360 on the other hand...

game will be the exact replica of the previous game, graphically. and it doesnt take much processing power when the average gameplay speed in gears is slowmotion

for years i keep hearing one system is maxed out but what does that even mean?
I mean people said the 360 was maxed out a few years ago and yet it getting some pretty good looking games after that. I believe there is still some left to squeeze out of it, i mean its not like PS3 where its showing huge power graphics game and improvement beyond its previous title but its still getting games that look better then other titles it had before.

lol I support dev that wants to push tech forward, but from what i've seen so far it looks just a bit above average.

I believe that both consoles still have a lot to offer, the biggest issue is that games get larger and more detailed with improving quality of graphics and gameplay(at times) this will add to the disk space and this is the biggest limitation of the X360.

More and more games will see multidisk releases and those that don't may have been limited because of lack of space and MS charging developers for using more than 3 disks(I think thats the limit).
