Sony Corp.’s Playstation Move controller for the Playstation 3 held an sold out status at Toys R Us Inc.’s online division this week due to high demand of the peripheral.
I heard the earth was flat...
Good job Sony.
Why wouldn't it be sold out, sony already admitted to shortages. It's not sold out due to being over whelmingly popular, it's sold out because Sony supply lines has issues.
Is redundant. It's either PS Move Or PlayStation Move. Not PlayStation Move PS3.....
This is also the same issue with Kinect, yet people seem to not realize that. Many stores are only getting a few, One of my local gamestop are only getting 4 while the one in the mall are only getting 6 this is why is SOLD OUT not because everyone is running out to buy them sheesh
I heard Toys R Us only stocks 3 Move items per store....And they are stocking 100 Kinect per store when it comes out
That kind of claim deserves so kind of link or page to show evidence don't you think? Seriously, everyone "heard this" and "heard that".
Are you sure they are stocking this game? http://www.youtube.com/watc... I'm pretty sure they are overstocking on kinects like the HDdvd drives and movies.
I heard you just made that up
Surely the failure rate cant be that high - they have to keep 99 spares for the one kinect they hope to sell in the store? Anyway, I will be buying one Move, and thats the only sale I am bothered about. Sales will prove that Kinect is better than Move, even if Move has better games or enables more immersion. Unless, of course, Move sells more in which case sales do not define quality, and you must be a moronic fanboi for suggesting such a thing
You better be concerned about more sales than just yours, if you want to see any more support for it! I'm not into sales either, but I realize the importance of them! It doesn't have to be a competition though!
@Dtrain21 You sir are wrong, call your local Toys R Us (if you have one) and ask how many they will be getting you will be shock to know that it will be less then 6.
lol don;t be silly i saw a whole shelf load of them at release, so go away
It only does everything.
Delays? 2 Delays for Japan and 1 for all other regions.
... unless the data has the incredible credit for showing honest real number. people will believe what they want and block out what they don't want to hear. Don't listen to what other people say; don't listen when people say "I heard..." they have no proof of it whatsoever. they're believing what they heard because that's what they wanted to hear. get out and try the product for yourself, yourself knows what product you want; don't look at review, review your own and buy it with your own thought words will get out by people who have tried or bought. the words will get out that Move worths it's money and Kinect won't be worth it's money. numbers wouldn't matter but people will know; that Sony really makes it's product with thoughts and vision. I have seen and tried demos for both. But as I said don't believe me. go out and try for yourself
is this the item of the season to have an artificial shortage to create demand? I remember this same thing in 1988 with zelda 2.
because Sony and Microsoft are purposefully sending out little supply... It's easy marketing, people hear about them selling out and assume they must be really good and so invest in it themselves. It happened with the Wii and Sony and Microsoft want to get in on such publicity. Having said that, I bought move and it's great
The Move is great though. Although, i do find myself getting very frustrated during Sports Champions(usually on tougher matches). Bought it for FPS mainly so Socom and KZ3 better be good.(probably will be) Want to check out Sorcery and others of course.
I am wondering if Move will work with the new Harry Potter game coming out.
I am actually wondering the same thing about the HP game, I just got my nephew the Move bundle and it would be great to get him this game as well. To be honest the move is quite enjoyable I have been playing a lot of the disc golf..lol
Of course. Why would Move be selling out. It not like it's getting good reviews, or positive claims from buyers or anything. Move could sell 10 million units and there will alway be a hater or upset fanboy trying to put a negative spin on it.
