Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II Demo Impressions (RunDLC)

The recently released Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II demo has one hell of an intro. Upon learning that he’s a clone of Starkiller, an unstable one at that, the hero gives Darth Vader the slip and escapes a cloning facility on Kamino. From there, the young apprentice leaps off a building and free falls a couple thousand feet through a storm, but this isn’t some fancy cut scene. You control Starkiller as he plummets through the air, dodging debris and destroying objects with Force Push. It’s incredibly beautiful and just plain cool.

I didn't know I needed this game until I played the demo. Fun stuff.

Felt like the first, only with two light sabers.

Wasn't all that impressed.

I tried to like the first but I've never been a fan of Star Wars; The world just doesn't interest me. I find the same problem with the second. It's a solid game and I want to get into it but the story just seem "blah" to me. Don't get the big deal about Star Wars.

Best things to come out of Star Wars is Kotor, Tie fighter and Battlefront and the Jed knight series. The movies are overrated and Force unleashed is just another decent game that comes out of Star Wars every once in a while. But Star Wars has potential, it has a good universe and the sith can be really brillant enemies/allies(in Kotor anyway)

Edit---Below, I hope it is, Kotor is in my top 10 list of all time games. I'm eagerly awaiting TOR

I think The Old Republic MMO will be the next great addition to that list, Bioware is amazing at story telling.

I'm so ready for this!!! :D

did you do it normally or use the cheat method, cause if you did it normally that a bit of a feat as they game is pretty hard on the hardest difficulty.

Ares84PS33289d ago

I never heard about it.

Also, I never cheat in games because I don't get the sence of accomplishment after. There is no point.

I play all my games without cheats and i hate cheaters.

It wasn't hard on the hardest mode. It was more unfair and cheap. The boss battles where very cheap especially Kazdan Paratus and the Bull Rancor.

I'm playing Castlevania Lords of Shadow on hard difficulty right now, almost at the end. I'm at chapter X at the moment and this is my first playthrough.

I didn't cheat when I platinum'd this game, I done good on Normal and realised when playing Evil your so much stronger making the boss battle to me fairly easy.

yea usually when you use cheats they don't let you save but some people found a way around that(not sure if it still works) so they had max stats from the beginning with a way to refil life by resetting the stats and powers.

I don't like cheats either was just curious, nicely done and yea when I was playing for the plat I reached a point where I just couldn't bother with the cheapness, maybe I'll go back for the plat :)
