Kotaku: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Review

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is an impressive, if derivative, effort from young developer Mercury Steam. While this Castlevania game may not deliver depth in its upgrades or weapons or bestiary, sometimes venturing into tedium, there's plenty to plumb from the game's rock-solid combat, diverse environments and lengthy, well-told story. There's plenty of challenge and content here for even the seasoned action game fan. If you've never been too fond of the platform-based exploration of more recent Castlevania games, Lords of Shadow may make you an admirer of the Belmont clan.

The story is too old to be commented.

They say that "you'll have a blast" but they bashed it the whole review, again, for not being CV-ish enough. God, what part of REBOOT don't you understand?

The part where it says "Castlevania" in the title.

Also, they just pointed out flaws. Every game, EVERY game has flaws. Why wouldn't they point them out? They also talked about the good parts of the game.

A review is that, A REVIEW. Not a completly praise for the game, wich is what pisses me off about some review sites.

HEY LETS POINT OUT DA BAD POINTZ OF DIS GAEM WHILE WE GIVE 10 OUTTA 10 TO HALO LOL

Yep, it has its flaws, but they say "THis is not Castlevania it's a clone of everything". It may be (and it IS Castlevania, after Chapter 3 that is) but it's an absolutely marvelous game.
