I don't know. Is the Move enough reason for me to get a PS3? I've been debating it for awhile but I've got such a backlog of 360 games to play...

The PS3 is reason enough to buy a PS3. That is, if you like games, media and more.

If you are an avid gamer and want to play great true exclusive high rated and extremely fun games PLUS have awesome extras/features/hardware then a PS3 is a must! Though you will have quite a few backlog of PS3 games to catch up on as well JJ70 ;P

a HUGE backlog of PS3 exclusives to play. Resistance 1, 2, and soon 3. Killzone 2 and soon Killzone 3. LittleBigPlanet 1 (and soon 2), Modnation Racers, Heavy Rain, MAG, Ratchet & Clank games, God of War 3, etc. Plus, Socom 4, Gran Turismo 5, Twisted Metal, DC Universe Online, Final Fantasy 14, and Final Fantasy Versus 13 (will most likely stay exclusive) will all soon be out. Trust me, there's more than enough reasons to buy a PS3. Also, I just bought 4 Move controllers and Sports Champions. It works flawlessly.
Edit: Also, all of the HD collections planned and already out for the PS3. (Sly Cooper, God of War, etc.)

You forgot MGS4, Uncharted 1, Uncharted 2, Yakuza 4, Demon's souls, Infamous :P Those 6 games collectively could be called the best of this generation. Then you also have the GOW Collection, Siren etc. For the future you needed to mention The Last Guardian, Ico-Colossus and Sly collection, Infamous 2, Agent. LoL

is that >>>> way

oh wait

anyway i'll be the troll
What 360 games are in your backlog? Im guessing after halo and fable you will have a year without one good exclusive so you will have time... On the other hand since you dont own a PS3 and are posting on a PS3 thread i would advise buying now because your backlog in exclusives alone will take you years just to complete

Heavy Rain looks like it is especially designed for PS Move.

Actually, David Cage said in a interview with Giantbomb, in the development, they thought to create a motion controller for Heavy Rain only. But it was cancelled that plan.

Then PS Move comes out, and it makes Heavy Rain a lot more immersive.

It's better with DS3 in my opinion, sometimes it's not so accurate, it doesn't even ask you to calibrate at start....
One time I played it required to press /\, [], T and then shake orizontally, vertically, and rotate.... to open a locked door...
I had to leave the nav controller and use the move with both hands...

ocnkng3297d ago

and there was actually a calibration that I did at the beginning.
Don't know what you are talking about.

MisterAV3297d ago

i've the real game, not the demo, it doesn't ask to calibrate at beginning. It's in the option if you want.

The first fight scene when you are Shelby was great with the DS3. But when I replayed it with the Move it became one of the most tense game moments I have experienced in years.

I'll get it when the price drops down

eaglethorn3297d ago

But thinking about it over and over again, the price isn't actually bad at all when you're buying the set w/ Sports Champion. Easily getting your money back quick.

re5 and move is amazing, you should all try it out, it's so much better than ds3 alone

foss33297d ago

I have RE5:Gold Edition and I bought it after I got my move. RE5 was a game I skipped but thought I'd go for it with move support.

I'd hardly call it amazing. It works but it definitely feels tacked on. You feel more like you're pointing and clicking rather than shooting a gun, mostly since you use the move button on top to shoot with your thumb rather than the trigger which makes no sense.

Combine that with the fact that Capcom is not releasing the patch to normal RE5 owners, whether they have all the DLC or not, makes it even less amazing.

Don't get it for move support. I like it because I never played it before but I wouldn't recommend it for others. And also to the non Gold Edition owners, I wouldn't think much about it since personally I don't think it adds anything to the experience.

it's exactly like re4wii edition, what do you expect, capcoom tuned down what they needed from the move to fit with what they knew worked, since re4wii was wildly loved and adapted, they chose to go with that method of controls, unfortunately you get hypocrites who are winging about re5:gold move controls, despite loving re4wii controls, it's so funny
when kz3 comes out you will be able to see the difference between a game that makes use of the move properly and re5:gold which chose to adopt a method from the wii which was known to work already.
