Scariest Video Games – Fatal Frame

"I wanted to kick off 20 days of scary video games with one of the scariest games ever made, Fatal Frame. I remember going into GameStop to buy this game and the manager had told me the game was returned by a 28 year old guy, who looked fairly tough, the reason for the return was it was too scary."

One of the best survival horror games I've ever played!

Hoping there would be a Fatal Frame Trilogy Collection on Blu-Ray in HD, 3D, Trophies, also MOVE support.

That would insane, but there are actually 4 games so it'd have to be a....... Fourgy? I dunno what it'd be called, but if they did that I'd buy the Move in a heart beat.

Nothing has come close to the original Fatal Frame..

I remember buying this when it first came to the U.S. on Halloween. I turned off all the lights and cranked the volume at 11pm.

I couldnt believe how intense the first hour was.

I spent the next two years challenging people that they couldn't make it through the first 15 minutes. At that time, I went through at least 20 people with that challenge and only 4 people got through.

The sequels don't even compare to the original as Fatal Frame was 'reportedly' based on some truth.

You won't even find 10 people who made it to the ending. In fact, even when you thought you had seen it all there were still portion late in the game gthat were authentic jump worthy.

I would love for someone to do an HD version or remake the original..but it just won't happen. The horror genre is dying.

I salute Dead Space and the amazing Alan wake for provide some great intense experiences. I haven't played the newest edition to Fatal Frame but I love that this article highlights this aging masterpiece.

Fatal Frame is a great series. 2 is the scariest game I've played. I think the series could've been a whole lot scarier if most of the forced ghosts encounters appeared in real-time instead of cutscenes - you know, catching you by surprise. Oh well, at least it has random ghost encounters.

I'm bummed Fatal Frame 4 was unreleased in America. The new FF better make it here.

It was by far the best horror game I have ever played.
