Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't it the indie developers who said that they didn't want to develop for Kinect and not that the tools weren't available that were responsible for that decision? Seriously, what developer in their right mind would risk putting their games on new tech like Kinect? It is hard enough to make a successful indie game in the gaming industry and you want me to make games for new, just introduced tech? Until more games are made for it and it shows what it can do, I think indie developers will be staying far away from it.
