EX: "Hypothetically speaking, though, what if you were to purchase every video game for every console that even remotely looks like it could be fun (a subjective measurement, granted)? The predictable answer? A whole lot of money."
Buying a new gaming rig so about $1000 :P
Am saving my money for 2011 :P Batman: AA 2 Infamous 2 Yakuza 4 Agent Uncharted 3(If its released) Left for Dead 3(If released on PS3) Playstation Move(when the price comes down a little) Sorcery
Yeah, next year is gonna be crazy. For this holiday I'm tempted to buy AC:B (multiplayer is quite fun), Dead Nation and certainly getting GoW:GoS. I still have too many games in my backlog and MAG 2.0 is sucking my life.
September Halo Reach Legendary + an extra copy for family..$210+ October Just last week I bought the Move bundle ($99) + bought 4 games ($200)...$300+ I bought the NBA 2K11 (360) the other day..$59 The rest of October ($180+) Medal of Honor Fable 3 Fallout 3 November Kinect ($149) Four Kinect games ($200) Call of Duty: Black Ops Gran Turismo 5 Need for Speed That's $530+ Total is over $1000 dollars in video games in 2 months and this is all without knowing which wheel I'm going to buy for GT5.. LOL..I need a new an f-ing new hobby Evil
Damn that's a lot of money. Do kidneys really sell for 3 grand? Because, uh, it might just be worth if you know what I mean....
I honestly think this is the largest video game release season in history. There's a stupid amount of new games coming out.
There's only one game you need and of course it's not that list --Halo: Reach.
Thanks I already played Halo 1. Same $hit.
lol you got so defensive: It's a game, for the love of all that is holy... And besides it has improved gradually since Halo
Wonder why it isn't on the list, I would count anything from September onwards as a "holiday" title, as they will still get the "holiday" sales.
Because it says "best"
saving for next year. why? because games are not cheap and i need to sacrifise. shame, why do i say sacrifise? the games industry got me good.
Gotta say its exclusive list looks the best.
I have been mostly playing PC games and the console games I will actually get don't come out 2011. I can safely say around a 100 bucks. A few retail games off of Steam...oh wait. Christmas Deals on Steam. Never mind it will be even cheaper.
CoD and Assassins Creed will do just fine for me thanks. Deus Ex early next year.
i'll be spending at least 800 bucks on the holidays
Lets see i already have 4 copies of medal of honor preordrd,1 copy ofsengoku basara,2 copies of lbp2 collectors edition, and one copy of GT5 so pretty much quite a few dollars.
Why would yuhh buyy 4 copiess of medal of honor and 2 copiiess OF LBP2???...
order 1 copy for then
ummm im getting a copy for me my bro,my girls bro and my cuz,and lbp2 one for me and my girl cuz she loves dat game.
well if your into all kinds of games than yes you will spend a lot of money this holiday cause a lot of good games are coming out in these next 3 months. for me i'm only getting 3 an those are MOH. GT5,& COD:BO. i was gonna get AC:BH but after seeing how the MP will work and play i'm just gonna rent it just for the story. True Crime is coming out next month (November)well thats what it says on gamestop and if it does than i'm getting it too. but who knows ill probably pick up AC:BH around December.
not spending any more money this year on gaming saving for next year.
Gamefly. One of the best decisions I've ever made. Sure I don't get pre-order bonuses or games on "Day 1", but I'm patient and bonuses are usually not that great. I get to play everything I want and I only pay $23 bucks a month for two games out at a time, plus their "Keep It" prices are lower than Gamestop's if I really love a game. This article almost screams to me "Get Gamefly and save yourself thousands $$$!" lol.
My holiday expenditures for gaming will be £40 = GT5 and that's it. Just don't think I will play much of any other games I buy, with that mamoth eating my spare time, not like I get a whole lot of that these days as it is... Srsly, GT5 will last me welllll into 2011, much less the holiday season so yeah...
Arguably one of the worst ends of the year in the history of videogaming, that list is for people which luckily for them have lots of money to waste. The fact Wii's line up is easily the best one should be a good enough hint.
Gt5 and vanquish possibly
Kirby's Epic Yarn and a pink wiimote for my girlfriend, Donkey Kong Country Returns
I'm spending 1$ for every xbox game.
