you have to admit, with a headline that contains 360 and uncharted in the same line, its bound to get 1020 degrees in a few minutes (who knew it was a review, a nt theory game.lol. this forum is going to rip this review apart). i expect nonsense comments like 1000 game awards. story, graphics and gameplay fused together to make the most more deepest game evah.

anyway, its not a risky review, dont expect too many uc references. i feel bad for the site though, its going break soon .(site hits!!!!!!) nice.

I think it is perfectly the same as Uncharted. The Shoothing-sequences are so similar ... wait ... is there cover-based-third-person-shoot ing in Enslaved at all? Not that it is an important part of Uncharted. Just saying... Well certainly they share a similar color-palette instead of being all brownish/greyish but that's about it, isn't it? As far as i remember Uncharted also came without the clipping issues and (at times) rough character animations. Don't get me wrong. Enslaved is great, but Uncharted-great? Yeah... Well... No!

enslaved is as just a good a game as uc2, and personally I like it better than uc2. Uc2 is a good game but I don't like it or see what's so special about it. Enslaved, to me, has way better face animations too. Gears is a better 3rd person shooter for me than uc2. Enslaved isn't a shooter so really it's all down to preference

I've never seen so many fanboys on one site ever. Sad. Not everyone thinks uc2 sets a benchmark for tps, and, quite frankly it doesn't.

better face animations? what drugs you on, the facial animations arnt even as good as heavenly sword.
go play gears 2 then if its so much better, not many people online is there, i was on it last night and it took an age to find players.

I totally agree with your comment. Almost everyone who commented on here immediattely just comments with an answer like "no". All I was trying to convey with my review was to compare it with a game that it has been compared to many times already, and shares many similarities. I'm not saying it's a better game......

If you can read, you'll see that all I'm questioning is if Enslaved gives xbox 360 owners, who have never experienced Uncharted 2, an experience similar to uc2......which, if you actually read the review, you would know that while it makes attempts, it actually falls quite short, but it's still a great game none the less.......I'm not trying to "hurt" anyones feelings, but some people take this stuff wayyyyyy too personal.....it's just a review, a little different than most, but why would people want to just read the same review over and over.....take it for what it is, people, and if you don't like it...you won't hurt my feelings......and on that note......I love N4G.....but this fanboy stuff has got to end.

That is a perfect comparison. It does feel more like Jax and Daxter than Uncharted. But in my opinion Jax and Daxter had more personality and was a lot better. Off topic. Here's hoping for Jak 4 or Jak and Daxter collection with Jax X Combat racing included

I just dnt like the combat. It is boring just like HS...well not boring, but something about it is just lacking in fun :s

It games like God of War, DMC and Bayonetta the combat just seems so fluid and fun and I'm not sure why but NT has again failed to nail this gameplay aspect.

Enslaved is just another game, but please do not fcuk up DMC!

At least in terms story telling and cinematic feel. Enslaved doesn't have the production value, the polish of UC2, they're on different levels

Still playing through Enslaved and currently missing banter between characters that occurs while exploring in UC. The story feels disjointed if the only conversing occurs during cut-scenes. Still enjoying the game though.

I'd say it is the only multiplat that is reminiscent of UC but again not on the same level.

I tried Ensalved demo and have to say it's really not as good as Uncharted (1 or 2) gamplay wise. Melee combat is a big part in Ensalved, but it just wasn't that exciting in the demo. Maybe someone who has both can do a better comparison.

Enslaved is clearly inspired by Uncharted with a touch of ICO, but it's not at the same sky-high level of quality of those games.

This doesn't make Enslaved a bad game, though. I really enjoyed it.

C'mon guys, the games have some similarities and if you've tried both of them you know it. Dynamic camera, the whole movie feeling...Enslaved clearly drinks from the Uncharted 2 fountain.

I found the demo quite fun, actually.
