CVG: We've just watched through Bethesda's latest HD Rage gameplay trailer - and captured 72 screenshots for you to feast your eyes on. Suffice to say, this game does not look rubbish.
I dunno man. The way BRINK is set up with SP and MP meshed together looks like one hell of a treat! Whatever the case may be, I will be picking up both of these!
Everyone keeps saying it but 2011 is easily the best year for gaming in recent memory!

theonlylolking was saying that borderlands was a great game with not so great graphics, not talking about Rage. I think he was saying the game was like borderlands, which is a great game with not so great graphics. I don't think he was comparing those qualities. Maybe I'm reading it wrong though :P

His opening statement would suggest he does not think the graphics are that great, but saying that does not make a bad game, as was the case with Borderlands. A great game but had rather wonky/weird/poor graphics... But I, like you, could be reading it completely wrong hahahah

are you being for real right now? Not so great graphics? Did you watch the same trailer in 720p as I did? I'm totally confused.. You do know this is a Sandbox FPS right? You do know even though it has a different art direction than Borderlands that this game trumps it in the graphics department? I dunno what you are smokin' but the id Tech 5 is quite impressive!
Alas, this game was not made to be a Crysis or Battlefield, however, for what it is, it looks AMAZING

This is going to be an awesome game, this with Resistance 3 in the same month is going to awesome.

I have to say, despite the smaller roster of UFC fighters in EA's game, it's visually miles ahead of THQ's offering. I haven;t had much chance to play it, so I can;t really say which is better from a gameplay perspective - but EA's is much slicker.
I have to admit that EA have been really incredible over the last year or so. They've stepped up to the plate. Here's hoping that this is another attempt at it.
EA MMA will have the entire UFC rooster quickly after release.
Community made CAF's and the online fighter share will make it happen!

ufc went to EA a long time ago and EA shut them down. They said it wouldn't sell..
THQ was a runner up for them and they said yes
EA noticed the success of this and changed their minds and made a game, but it's called MMA and not UFC for a reason
Love the controls for EA MMA. You can finally do your own punches by using the Analog compared to THQ's smash the controller.
... is never good for a game. Generally speaking. I struggled with those crazy tut's in UFC. I wanna just jump straight in without button mashing.
The one problem I had with THQ's go at UFC was the staying power. I played for a few hours and then got bored. With what EA is bringing to the party, this one looks to blow THQ out the water! Cant wait!

I really fail to comprehend the controversy. Putting things from real-life in to video games doesn't detract from or make light of their seriousness; if anything it creates awareness.
I don't understand why this is so controversial in the first place. Would extremist Muslims be offended to play as the US? And if so, do Americans care? It's a little absurd.

I think it's not so much that people mind shooting the taliban as they would mind actually playing them. It's not just a question of taste (which is subjective anyways) but playability...
I've given the SP a little bash, and that's quite interesting; the multiplayer at the moment is almost a copy-paste of Modern Warfare though.
Ye, i don't expect it to be any different. Maybe less Science Fiction and more real.
All these whiners and complainers are getting worked up over killing a bunch of pixels in a game who happen to be called Taliban/OpFor. Why didn't anyone go crazy when we were killing Germans or Russians as we have been doing in almost every FPS since day one...
Never thought of it that way. Our grandfathers fought in a more intense war that cost people 100's of 1000's of lives and no-one complains then.
