Microsoft has announced that starting August 14th, and ending September 22nd, gamers will be able to get a free game with their purchase of an Xbox 360. When a system, either Core or Premium, is purchased a gamer will be able to pick from Project Gotham Racing 3, Kameo: Elements of Power, Perfect Dark Zero or Dead or Alive 4.
Perfect Dark Zero launched alongside the Xbox 360 back in 2005, to much criticism. 18 years later, is it worth another look?
Perfect Dark Zero was the first game that I purchased for my XBOX 360. I still have the game in my collection. I think I played it for about 45 minutes in total over the past 18 years. It's a really bad game, and I was so disappointed when I first fired it up almost 20 years ago.
I had fun with the mutiplayer. Didnt feel like Perfect Dark, but still had some fun with it
Full remakes of games are here to stay, and that's why we've thought up a list of 10 video game sequels and prequels that deserve a full remake.
Just can't take this list serious when they mention DA:2 and what they said about it.
Parasite Eve
The Bouncer
Dino Crisis
Metal Gear Solid
Silent Hill
Final Fantasy VIII
Croc Legend of the Gobbos
Chrono Trigger
Sonic Adventure
Mario Sunshine
BY THE GROWNGAMING TEAM: Video game sequels are given the best chance of success possible. They give players the opportunity to revisit a world they enjoyed exploring with a cast of characters they loved, usually with improved gameplay mechanics and graphics.
Some video game sequels eclipse the game that came before, but some sequels can, unfortunately, be huge disappointments.
These are the video game sequels that disappointed the GrownGaming team the most. Which one disappointed you the most?
I don’t hate any or these games, but my list would be:
Dead Space 3
Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm
Sly Cooper 3
Perfect Dark Zero (this is technically a prequel)
Gears of War: Judgement (again a prequel)
God of War: Ascension (again a prequel)
Mass Effect 3. It was the typical sequel where it looked and played better than the previous entry but it felt like it was missing the charm of the last one. Some of my favorite crew mates were reduced to cameos in 3 and the new ones just weren't as good. The eventual fix they offered did little to rectify it either.
Well this is a step up from only packaging one game with a sku. So MS is going to give people choice with 4 games. I like that much better than only one.
But if MS wants people in late 2007 they need a 50-100 dollar price drop.
Well i hope this will convince the parents of all the kids i'v been hearing at the game shops saying they wish they had an 360. 360's too exspensive, I agee with #1.
I love the choice of games on this one.
I respect MS, but those choices are sh!t.
well that's the thing, it doesn't cost them anything cause those titles aren't selling anything now cause their a year old almost. So expect MS to make up for that in the coming months after the sale. Lower XBL or lower console retail costs after this cycle....who knows!!!
