"It does seem a little strange, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath, an Xbox exclusive title, set for the refurbishment treatment but only due for a PS3 release.
There is logic behind the madness, however, with developer Just Add Water responding on their site to the many complaints from 360 fans displeased that they won’t be able to enjoy the updated title on their console of choice."
Despite being a 20-year-old game, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath still deserves to get a sequel for its unique gameplay and narrative appeal.
Exoddus deserves a sequel before this, although I wouldn't complain at a SW2. Abe's story is still yet to be completed - a shame Soulstorm left much to be desired compared to the classic originals.
I was playing the original on my PC about a week ago. Man, the dialog in this game is so hilarious and definitely wouldn't fly today. People have completely lost the ability to see humor in anything. This game was such a gem.
17 years after its initial release, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath has returned -- and has never been better than this.
If you missed the news, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath is out now on the Switch via the Nintendo eShop. But there’s a physical edition that is now available for pre-order at Amazon.
Why do MS have these stupid rules? It's making AAA developers shy away from XBLA to the competition... seriously, WHY do they have them?
Just buy a PS3 if you don't have one (and if you can of course). With all the possible 3rd party HD classics on the way and with the 3rd party companies' support like EA, Ubisoft and Just Add Water, future is looking bright for PS3. I hope Microsoft learns some lesson about arrogance though. For the whole year I saw a handful of companies complaining about the Live and its unnecessary limitations but so far MS done nothing.
Remove your size limit NOW, or face the full wrath of the 360 fanboyzz!!!!! lol
I could of swore MS did away with that limit a long time ago, oh well I guess this is another one of those times where it pays to be a multi-console owner.
Size limits are retarded. If a company wants to release a large game on your network let them. Charge them a little extra if you want but dont force them to go to the other sides network because of your rules.
