IGN: Our Top 10 Most Anticipated Japanese Console Games

IGN: "A couple of caveats for this feature, however - we've restricted our choices to console games only, and we've restricted our choices to titles we saw at this year's Tokyo Game Show. So no, Kirby's Epic Yarn isn't on the list. Here we go!"

Only TGS games... is that why Versus isn't in? Technically Squared showed a bit of it, but I guess that wasn't enough

Square Enix and IGN in one room is too much crappyness in one room. lol

On topic: Ni No Kuni is my most anticipated game. I'm really actually looking forward to most of these games, especially GT5 and TLG, but I have a special place in my heart for Level-5 and Studio Ghibli. The two of them together is a match made in heaven.

EDIT: disagree bot just ran through. Some had a slow day. lol

No, IGN is one of, if not THE BEST website that reviews games.

I find their reviews extremely detailed and helpful, and they don't even reveal any spoilers. IGN rocks!

Anyone agree?

IGN reviews aren't that bad, and sometimes really good. The score is also fairly consistent to what ends up being the general consensus about a game.

However, IGN suffers from ridiculously bad editorials and opinion pieces which often times (very often) make them look stupid, biased, ignorant, immature or out of touch.

They should stick to reviews and strict news reporting, like they used to, and they could gain a lot of credibility back with me, if not many people.

That being said, I will kind of contradict myself and say this is actually a really good list (for once). I probably wouldn't have the same order (except for 1 and 2), but other than missing FFvsXIII, it seems very solid.

The Last Guardian, Gran Turismo 5, Metal Gear Solid Rising, Child of Eden, and not on the list but Verses XIII is also right there.

I have my eyes on Project Dark and Asura's Wrath.
