Prince of Persia Trilogy and Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection release in NOVEMBER 2010

Thanks to Jeux Video, it has been confirmed that Prince of Persia Trilogy and Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection will come out in November 2010 remastered in HD and 3D for the PS3.

This starting to look really positive now if capcom re did the resident evil outbreak games in HD for the PS3/PSN it would do a lot better i think than what it did before.

OMG with Sly and PoP in the holiday, I think I'm taking days off just to play all my games! looks like Sony is at it again! the market for classic games remastered in HD definitely has a market and who wouldn't want to tap into this market? these old games aren't gonna sell anymore in their current state but with HD+trophies and now +3D, these old games are given new life and although won't sell millions, a couple thousands more will surely brings in the bucks! I really can't wait for more classics to come to the PS3 like these!

I mean games last gen were already using DVDs up to 9GB of data.

The 360 DVDs have to spend around 2GB on security stuff, so their DVDs can only hold up to 7GB of data.

It most likely has something to do with coding and textures, companies aren't looking to pay people alot of money to go and and completely remake these games all they want is a little bit of polish on them.

I'd say Gow2 on the collection looked almost good as say crackdown in a sense (i know crackdown went for a different art style though). But yea they didn't compare to a majority of xbox360 games but they looked alot better than original xbox games since it was in 720p and had 2xMSAA.
