This starting to look really positive now if capcom re did the resident evil outbreak games in HD for the PS3/PSN it would do a lot better i think than what it did before.

Red_Orange_Juice4990d ago (Edited 4990d ago )

I'd wish they were more consistent with the covers :)

When you put them together like that it does look a bit ridiculous, especially the sly one

but PoP is a definite buy! OMG with Sly and PoP in the holiday, I think I'm taking days off just to play all my games! looks like Sony is at it again! the market for classic games remastered in HD definitely has a market and who wouldn't want to tap into this market? these old games aren't gonna sell anymore in their current state but with HD+trophies and now +3D, these old games are given new life and although won't sell millions, a couple thousands more will surely brings in the bucks! I really can't wait for more classics to come to the PS3 like these!

XXXCouture4990d ago

it seems sony have found a good card to get more games in 3d

sinncross4990d ago

And to think ppl were complaining about PS3 losing holiday exclusives with Socom 4 and LBP2 gone :)

LOOK_AT_THIS_I4990d ago

U can keep the prince of persia set but mk collection "get over here"

HeroXIV4990d ago

Microsoft don't need bluray brah, it should be coming. lol

Sheikh Yerbouti4990d ago (Edited 4990d ago )

360 needs some of the HD Remastered lovin', but I think you are right. This is only possible with the power of the blu-ray.

Wow! What's next?

Bell Boy4990d ago (Edited 4990d ago )

Yeah no need for blu-ray in gaming....lol

Now wait for HD remakes of a all resident evil, gta and mgs...that will turn some heads

badz1494990d ago

you know they will come in multiple disc! but who knows? these are 3rd party games, they might be ported to 360 too!

Sheikh Yerbouti4990d ago (Edited 4990d ago )

They can do a Halo Collection for 1 and 2. That will fill that gap between Halo #'s.

Edit: Ooops, look below. LOL.

:)

Microsoft can do Halo Collection, oh wait it'd still look the same.

Pedobear Rocks4990d ago

You could maybe get HALO 1, 2 and 3 remastered to be 720p someday.

rockleex4990d ago (Edited 4990d ago )

I mean games last gen were already using DVDs up to 9GB of data.

The 360 DVDs have to spend around 2GB on security stuff, so their DVDs can only hold up to 7GB of data.

PS3-2474990d ago (Edited 4990d ago )

But MS said they don't need blu ray. I recommend getting a PS3 man. More HD remakes will be coming. Don't miss out on them.

This could be the main reason why LBP2 was delaid. MK in HD and 3D will blow my mind away.

Lucreto4990d ago

I could be wrong but doesn't the 360 have a smaller DVD storage than the original xbox so it would be harder to get the collection on the 360.

mynd4990d ago

You can already play at least 1 of these titles from each collection on the 360 already.
Perhaps they figured people with BC wouldnt really want them.

Hey but hell, people who dont have BC, can play them now...for a price...

AlienFodder4989d ago

Except for the most part those games play at a ridiculously low framerate. Trust me, I tried playing PoP SoT recently on a 360 Slim and it was painful...

Matthew944990d ago

didnt it have avatar the game in 3d?

tatotiburon4990d ago

hahaha bluray?? killzone size is 12GB...a prince of persia trilogy will be bigger?? LOL!!

My favorite is always going to be Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. I know some people didn't like the addition of the run button. But, man that game is burned into my memory from childhood, lol.

Relientk77197d ago

That's the one I played the most as a kid. Fun times gaming on my Sega Genesis, the memories

Terry_B197d ago

Deception, MK2, MK9, MKX ..rest.

Kakashi Hatake197d ago

MK2 will always be the best in the series. Been playing a lot of MK1 lately though. Definitely enjoying it more than any other NRS era MK game.

Tankbusta40197d ago

1 and 2 were cultural phenomenon's.

specialguest197d ago

I will always have a special place in my memory for MK 1 and 2. You had to be there during that era at the arcades. Martial arts tournament fighting movies were still popular, and MK 1 was exciting. Real life motion captured characters done well (unlike Pit Fighter). A cast of characters we all liked like Bruce Lee(Lui Kang), Van Damme(Johnny Cage), the Lightning god(Raiden) from Big Trouble in Little China, and Ninjas, gotta have Ninjas. Goro was menacing as hell. The MK arcade had some of the best speakers similar to Killer Instinct as you could hear the loud crisp and bassy sound that was distinctly different than other arcades. MK 2 improved greatly on the controls and fighting mechanics
