VGC writes, "Dungeon Hunter was a game that did not hold much hope for a lot of playtime from me when I first got it- I was wrong, really wrong. I sank a good 10 to 15 hours into my first playthrough. Some of that time was spent being lost and not really knowing where to go next and redoing some levels thinking I missed an item or a beast that needed slaying. Warrior, Mage and Rogue are selectable at the beginning with each coming with a faery that will help (you gain more as you traverse the world and defeat their captors)."
STP writes: Many big-name console and PC ports that have made their way to iOS, but Blizzard’s Diablo series was never one of them. That leaves a dungeon-sized void for others to fill, and in 2009 Gameloft introduced their own isometric action-RPG, Dungeon Hunter.
Heartcore Gaming's Ferdie takes a look at the soon to be released Dungeon Hunter for PlayStation Vita and discovers that it isn't much of an improvement on the PSN version we have been playing for a year.
Sweet! This actually looks really cool. I love this genre of game... maybe I'll get a Vita after all.
Back in September '09 one of Gameloft's big iPhone titles was Dungeon Hunter, a Diablo-like hack-and-slash adventure with a ton of items and hours of fun to be had. Instead of just quickly porting the game over to PSP Minis like other developers, Gameloft have gone back to the drawing board to create a more enriching, more high definition experience based on the same model -- and it's exclusive to the PlayStation Network.
This game reminds me so much of Champions of Norrath, first day buy. I believe the article is wrong about something though, they say that all that is available is screens but a teaser trailer was released awhile back i believe.
Wish we had a release date or at least a general time that it'll release.
Sweet.
I thought the first trailer looked kinda bad, graphically - but these shots are a lot crisper look a lot better than those of the original PSN trailer. Looks great.
