BioShock widescreen display bug discovered

The Xbox 360 and PC demo versions of BioShock apparently have a bug with the FOV in widescreen resolutions. Widescreen users are missing the top and bottom of the view. Gamers on the official forums provided this image of the problem. 2K Games has yet to respond.

its not much of a problem, say aspect ratio was bad then we have a problem but it is fine.

Its just with demo versions right!? Hope the final product doesn't need a patch or something.

its probably in the actual game.........because you know alot of people got ahold of it at TRU last week
but i bet they are making a patch right now.....if it is the actual game

I played the demo on HDTV at 1080i and had no problems.

It could be a bug, but it seems that widescreen just gives less FOV, and that isn't too serious of a problem. Resistance in campaign co-op does the same, and it isn't a big problem.

Although it is true that loss of FOV in widescreen generally shouldn't happen. If it becomes a "big" problem I'm sure they'll fix it.
