i knew we wouldn't be getting anything worthwhile i knew nothing was going to excite me but i never knew i would feel this disappointed after seeing DMC

i knew ninja theory was gonna mess it up but just wow...
and we still haven't even seen the western touch/feel they were talking about not to mention the 3 hour game time

I'd understand if this was some sort of unnecessary element to the overall storyline, like Joker challenge rooms, but something this big for the whole Dead Rising storyline being exclusive to one platform? That's just retarded, IMHO.

Well, since the first Dead Rising was only on xbox, I think it makes sense because those'll be the people who know who Frank West is.

So, if you bought the first one for the 360 because that was the only choice, to experience the full story you have the buy the second for the 360 as well even though there's no functionality gained from a previous save and even if you prefer to play on your PS3 when you can?

Not to say that I don't get your reason, it's not a bad one, but it's no a good enough one either, IMHO. I own a 360 and have ME1 and 2 on it, but if it comes to the PS3 there's no way I'm not going to get it there. I just prefer the PS3 for the lack of disc drive noise and the no worries about being able to play online (I'm not big into it, but it's nice to be able to do it whenever once in a while without having to worry about putting out some more money).

I totally understand that, too, but the fact is that Microsoft probably paid some moolah to get this exclusively on the 360. Plus, Capcom has favored Microsoft slightly more than Sony this generation. I think Microsoft has a similar relationship to Capcom that Sony has with EA. We're getting two games for one in Dead Space 2, which is just awesome, and xbox is basically getting the same thing with DR2.

What have they done with devil may cry. That is not the dante we know, I could kick his ass myself. Where the hell is the ice cool vergil with his yamato, why has dante lost half his body weight and dyed his hair black. What are capcom doing these days do they have apes making the top decisions at the company

They did made Heavenly Sword and Enslave which looks like it has potential of being a decent game. I was neutral with Dead Rising 2 but now after this announcement I couldn't care less about the game, expect plenty of dlc on launch day. The future of the Resident Evil franchise is starting to look scary in a bad way.
