Yakuza To Go All Resident Evil

After teasing the game a bit last week, Sega formally took the wraps off Ryu ga Gotoku: Of The End in this week's issue of Famitsu magazine, and to say the least, it's shaking up the formula a bit. Instead of taking on mob bosses and trying to up your street cred in Tokyo's red-light district, you're instead teaming up with your yakuza rivals to rid the gritty alleys of the bloodthirsty zombies that have taken over. Really.

I actally like this idea, I mean with the fighting style of Yakuza games combined with Zombies = great gameplay.

lol... I remember in Yakuza 3 walking around Tokyo kicking ass with my epic "mew mew" shoes. I must of laugh to myself for 30 minutes.... nothing is more redonkulous then when you kick a guy in the face and your shoes go "mew mew".

We knew SEGA love sabotaging their own IPs, but Zombies? In a Yakuza game? Will it even be a Yakuza game by the time it's finished?

If you're going to make Resident Evil, make Resident Evil, don't try and change an existing a series, is all I'm saying!
