AppAdvice Review: Guns'n'Glory

AppAdvice:
As Tower Defense defense games go, this is above average fair. Being able to move your towers doesn’t just feel like a gimmick tacked onto the game to make it stand out. It does have some issues I ran into and I would recommend playing it on an iPad versus an iPod but I still recommend it.

Twinfinite: You Should Be Ashamed Of Yourself

One aspect of video games that set them apart from all other forms of media (other than those often disappointing Choose Your Own Adventure books) is the ability to create a story, to form a narrative through choices and actions. Even though it may provide limited choices, a good game allows players to immerse themselves into a story in a uniquely intimate way. One thing that a game loves to do with this connection is empower the player and imbue a sense of badassery, righteousness, or what have you. Nine Over Ten: Guns'n'Glory (iPhone) Review

Nine Over Ten 9/10 has put up a review for HandyGames' Guns'n'Glory, a Tower Defense game for the iPhone/iPod touch platform.

The game represents a twist in the genre by having move-able towers. The player takes up the role of being a bandit in the Wild West, hiring dynamite-tossing Mexicans, desperados, and even Red Indians to set up ambushes on settlers, coaches, cowboys and gold transports in order to earn gold.

The level of difficulty and the fluidity in gameplay may not be for everyone, but any fan of the genre looking for something different and challenging will want to try this out.
