El33tonline Review: Lips: Party Classics

El33tonline writes:

"… Hmm… Yeah…

Ok, so there’s a new Lips game called Party Classics. Well it’s not so new now because I spent some time trying to come up with something new to say about it without any joy. It’s the same as the last Lips (I Love the 80s), but it has a different set of songs – this time they’re from many different eras of music instead of one. It’s a cool companion edition to other Lips discs with 40 Party Classics (although some I hadn’t heard, and if I haven’t heard them before I’m not sure how they could be Party Classics since I’ve been to at least three parties), but in structure it’s essentially exactly the same as I Love the 80s and still not up to the epicness of SingStar."

X360A: Lips: Party Classics Review

For those of you that have already tired of belting out You Can't Touch This from the last Lips add on pack – assuming you can ever get tired of that song, of course. Then here is some more sweet relief in the form of the Party Classics compilation. This time around there is no set theme as such, just forty more classic - and not so classic - tracks for you to sing along to. While this title can be played as a full game, it is more likely to appeal to most players as DLC for the original Lips which makes more sense considering the lack of new ground covered here.

They just can't compete with Singstar.
