GATT - Two New SteelSeries Head Sets Arrive for Testing

GATT was amazed when these two beauties showed up at our front door step today. We are also currently reviewing the NOX Specialist. It will be interesting to see which set comes out ahead in the review we will give for all three. GamerX is really itching however to test out the very nice XBL Spectrum head sets vs the NOX Specialist since he's already done that portion of my review. Special thanks to Tori from SteelSeries; You all can expect the review by next week.

Audeze Maxwell are the best. The 90mm Planar magnets create a much better soundstage.

I would hope so at 300$+ range

I love my arctis 7+. Great sound, ergonomics, and long lasting battery. Steel series is a great brand for headphones I'd recommend.

Is this better than sonys official headsets for playing exclusives?

Jin_Sakai324d ago (Edited 324d ago )

I had both and preferred the Artcis. It’s more comfortable and sounds about the same.

@jin
Well if it sounds the same I'll save my money then. Already own sonys headset with 3d audio

“Well if it sounds the same I'll save my money then. Already own sonys headset with 3d audio“

Sorry I was wrong. I had the Arctis 7 not the Nova 4 so I can’t make judgement. The Arctis 7 did sound better than the Pulse 3D now that I think about it and they were more comfortable.

If you want a big step up in sound quality and mic quality go for the Audeze Maxwell. The 90mm Planar magnetic drivers have an amazing soundstage. Probably the the best sounding gaming headset on the market.

I'll continue sticking with my A50S until they, inevitably, break. Then I'll see what's on the market.
