Andriasang: After months of referring to Sega's upcoming PS3 Ryu ga Gotoku (aka Yakuza) game as "upcoming PS3 Ryu ga Gotoku game," we can now call it by its final name: "Ryu ga Gotoku Of the End."
Joystiq: Daisuke Sato, director of Binary Domain and Yakuza 3, wouldn't say whether or not Sega had any plans to release the team's previous shooter, the very weird Yakuza: Of the End, in America and Europe.
But he offered a hypothetical that suggested that, at least, the thought has come up.
Why wouldn't they localize this? It seems to cater more to a western audience than the previous Yakuza games did, so after going to all that effort to not bother makes no sense.
except it's a fun spin offgame that only cater to yakuza fans ... wih arent numerous yet in the west .
It's hardly a good shooter , and a rather stiff and outdated zombie game with its particular brand of humor .
With what's already out there , it aain only resonate within fans of the original serie ... so i can see with they'd hesitate

hahaha game is looking so much fun. i hope sega keeps their track record going and releases this in the west.
I heard this was the last Yakuza game on the PS3, then the devs will move on to Sega's next console.

yah i think thats why i became such a huge fan of the yakuza series. it was about as close as ill ever get to playing shenmue 3. there are a lot of similarities but also a lot of differences. both are some of my favorite games though.
it was the ps2 years right....hopefully they get a yakuza hd upgrade for the whole series....doubt it though.

yah there are 2 on ps2 (yakuza and yakuza 2) then 3 and 4 are on the ps3. plus the various spin offs that never made it to the west. thats why im hoping yakuza of the end makes it to us, but with the other releases im pretty confident they will. i was one hoping for an hd release as well though, with trophy support. would be pretty sweet.

YAKUZA is a really cool and fun serie, wonder why people don't buy it much, it's better than many craps on the market.
