Aah, the Water Temple. How we all dreaded this back in the days! But was it that bad? Or that hard for that matter.
after beating the water temple the rest of the dungeons felt like a walk around hyrule palace.
I used to loooooove the water temple. Especially after I beat it :)
I hated it. The concept was great, but the enemies were a bit weird and insanely hard, and over all it felt depressing =( the only good part of the water temple was shadow link
Water temple was pretty easy for me. I like swimming underwater in games. I love it in real life too. Especially in the ocean. /lifestory.
People complain when somethings too hard, but then complain when somethings too easy. Personally, I'd much rather have a challenge than have something too easy. I loved the Water Temple, I thought it was brilliantly designed, which made it difficult for some people to solve. I loved the even harder Water Temple in Master Quest.
It was a good temple but there were a few cheap pieces in it. Don't remember where exactly but I would've never* found one of the keys in it without a strategy guide.
I had no problems with the temple at all from what i recall.
It isn't that hard really. But if you make a mistake with raising/lowering the water, it is really annoying :P
That mistake( raising/lowering the water)got me stuck for hours . But i remeber that i acctually got stuck in a lot of parts with that game and was happy and sad when i finish it , it was a great adventure still one of the best games i ever played and best zelda game to date ( for me at least ) .
See, I had no problems the first time I tried it... Then I replayed it and raised and lowered the levels. I was stuck for so many hours.
GRRRRRRRRRRR I hated the water temple. So F-ing hard.
Yeah Water temple was difficult. The one temple I hated the most though was the shadow temple still remember that creepy beat bongo bongo had.
I hated the damn Water Temple.....I also hated pissed off chickens....unlike Fable...these chickens kick you back..
My six year old brain had so much fucking trouble with that temple.
Exactly the same with me, an absolute mind-bender.
uuuhh the water temple made me quit the game :/ I didn't know it caused problems to others as well :O
Didn't have much problem with the regular Water Temple. But the Water Temple on the Master Quest was a whole new level of wtf.
That was a huge deal on the playground back in elementary/middle school if you beat the water temple. I felt like such a badass after I beat it, but then felt like a huge girl when I stepped foot into the well.
Don't make me go back!! Aaaaaaahhhhhh!!!! I hated that place!
ughhhhh damn you water temple!!!! One wrong move and you're sitting there stuck forever. I spent a whole weekend figuring that shit out
I must have just got lucky, figured it out in average time. :)
I got stuck and abandoned the game when it first came out. Years later I realised I couldnt live and call myself a gamer having not completed it and went back for another go. For some reason it was fairly easy, no harder than the rest of the game. I suspect people get in trouble having water at the wrong levels at the wrong time and get painted into a corner. Starting fresh might help. I also didnt realise it was such a stigma for so many gamers.
Some people just aren't man enough to memorize the Water Temple. =__=
water temple in Majora's Mask was tough, but fighting Gyorg was easy.
Ahhhhhh the memories......
What with the fascination with the Water temple. Yes it was hard and took 1-2 hours to find the solution, but it was enjoyable. I twas one of the highlights of the game
I remember getting stuck trying to figure out how to raise and lower the water. LOL Good times. Aside from that the hardest dungeon I played in a Zelda game was the one in Lttp where you fight that butterfly looking boss
