MSE: Call of Duty: Black Ops - Multiplayer hands-on

Of course, the important question was always going to be, how does it play? Two nights ago, Treyarch revealed some interesting details about the Black Ops multiplayer offering, including new killstreaks, perks, equipment and progression systems, but has the developer captured and maintained the immensely popular ‘feel’ of the CoD online experience?

I wont be getting this game but my clan is insisting on much so that they are willing to buy the game for me just to play and stay within the clan comradely. I just don't want the same thing being regurgitated back at me. My fellow clan mates have there doubts but they are in it for more of playing together online feel more than the game itself...Killzone 3, Brink, Halo: Reach and Resistance 3 along with others will satisfy my FPS hunger...but for those that do get the game I hope you don't get dissapointed and get the same some year over year.

The fact you have a clan and clan mates makes you the lamest person ever. The people on here complaining about CoD are out of their damn minds. Great games year after year. Well worth the 60 and 15 for map packs (especially when you have a ps3 and a few friends to share the cost) I don't know why you nerds think its cool not to like MW2. I loved god of war and uncharted but after playing through once ive done it all. CoD multiplayer has kept me entertained since i bought my ps3 in Jan. You must be high lol.

mlemay must like taking it from behind.

Bleucrunch2970d ago (Edited 2970d ago )

@ Melmay I fail to understand why I am lame because I have a clan but to each his own no matter how ridiculous it may seem to others...mainly me.You obviously haven't played the previous call of duty games to know what I am speaking about so I will just be nice and say you aren't as educated on this topic as others...its a shame though because evrfighter may have a point in suggesting that you like to take it up the arse...smh smh.....smh!

I haven't bought a CoD game since 2. So, I think I'll actually buy this one. Full price of course...

8-bit2970d ago (Edited 2970d ago )

Really? I bought every one since 2. The entire COD series seems to be stuck in a bit of a stale mate. COD4 was awesome, WaW was COD4 with WWII skin, MW2 was COD4 with new perks and Black OPS will most likely be more of the same. I still plan to get it but I am just not hyped for it like I am for Killzone 3. COD is an incredibly fun series but it's become over hyped and the devs treat the COD4 engine like a cookie cutter to rush out a new version ever holiday season

MGRogue20172970d ago (Edited 2970d ago )

Black Ops will most likely make Modern Warfare 2 feel obsolete or not needed anymore ...

But having said that, there will always be love for MW2.. Always. People will want to revisit even after having played Black Ops, trust me. :P

The same happened with WaW

Anorexorcist2970d ago (Edited 2970d ago )

I fervently played World at War over COD4 and even over MW2 (just because I am something of a WWII enthusiast). The number of people (or noobs) who choose to spend their afternoons playing MW2 over WAW may be greater, but that doesn't automatically equate to greater quality.

i would hate a game i sucked at too

CaJuaLFeatPuFF2970d ago (Edited 2970d ago )

Nah. I'm rank number 1, On MW2 Rank 25 on MW
I got like 50000000000000 KILLS and 2 Deaths

Yo Im a Beast!

xX TriiCKy Xx2967d ago

Oh wow. There's no way in hell you got more than a 1 million kills. And that 2 deaths thing is utter bullshit.
