How Many Wii Owners Have Played Super Metroid?

CoffeewithGames shows the new updated play-time data, as well as how many players are reporting the data, for Super Metroid.

CwG also shows about how much Nintendo has made off of Super Metroid being on the Virtual Console since it released.

i guess soccer moms arent much into samus... since you know both share the same identical biological and physical characteristics its obvious why they're not attracted to the game

you need to know about the data:
1) The number of players is only taken from the number of people that REPORT their data by having the Nintendo Channel downloaded. If they don't have the Nintendo Channel downloaded, AND agree to have their data reported, they won't show up.

While the Wii Shop Channel is a standard channel on Wii's, I'm not sure when the Nintendo Channel became standard, or if it even has on new Wiis.

Also, it's for North America only.

any one over 15 and under 35(not just a kid and not a soccer mom) should have played Super Metroid at some point. one of my top 5 games of all time. also, i'm not a Wii owner.

Beat it (again) a few weeks ago in anticipation of Other M. There are very few games I would call "perfect," but Super is an exception. I can't think of anything R&D1 could've done to improve upon it.

It's great that the VC is giving so many more gamers a chance to play it.
