Resolution's Jen Allen writes: It's increasingly difficult to know what to say about Sam & Max Season 3. Not because it’s not worth talking about – it most certainly is – but because of the risk of spoiling the events that unfold in this finale. It’s sad to see The Devil’s Playhouse end but there are some rather intriguing plot twists to keep players keenly interested right until the end. It’s a pity then that while the narrative and humour is as strong as ever, the puzzles on offer feel a little stale.
Review - Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse is a madcap mystery brimming with creativity, showing there is life in the old dog (and rabbit) yet.
XBA says: One last wacky adventure with the iconic Freelance Police.
The Devil's Playhouse is still the most stylish of the Telltale Sam & Max games.
