X360A: I’m not sure anyone was that surprised when Activision announced DJ Hero 2 earlier on this year. It’s how the Hero brand for the most part seems to roll, and despite Activision hyping up their own sales for the original DJ Hero, stating that it made more than any other new IP in 2009, what they forgot to mention was that it’s only because it cost 3 times more than the products it was compared against. Regardless, it was a great game and thus, deserved a sequel and this time, FreeStyle Games are looking to put more of their name in the game… figuratively of course.
DJ Hero 2 looks to unleash your inner DJ by offering you the chance to get more creative in the songs, included new freestyle sections for each of the three major key gameplay facets: the scratching, the cross-fading and the key hooks and samples.
