Welcome to the first part of our preview series for the latest expansion for World of Warcraft. In this series, we will be previewing various updated aspects of World of Warcraft and zones from Cataclysm. Please note that if you wish to remain spoiler free, then I suggest not reading this.
The subject of our first part of our Cataclysm preview is the Horde’s latest addition, Goblins.
World of Warcraft developers discuss the game's decades-long lifepsan and why the game continues to be the biggest MMO ever.
The construction of the new Housing system in Azeroth is underway, and we’re taking you behind the scenes to give you an early look at what the Housing development team has been working on. Watch your step, and don’t mind the dust. Hard hats are not required.
Mounts are perhaps WoW's most coveted collectibles, displaying feats of strength or perseverance for all to see.
If anyone wants to find out anything about this expansion, I implore you to look up The Cynical Brit.com and TotalBiscuit's YouTube videos of the beta. All of the starting areas are going to be redone, a lot of the questing is supposed to be better and more exciting for the early levels (Blizzard wants to fix the thing about new players leaving after the trial), and there is a lot of news that will affect new players regardless of if they get Cata right away or not.
That and there's going to be a ton of zones that will use phasing in this xpack. The Worgen starting area will, as well (that you actually will learn how the starting area became all Worgen as you play through it).
Yeah. I plan on doing a feature on Worgen very soon. I made one and it was quite fun to see the story progress. Oh and if anyone has a request for a feature in this preview series, just let me know.
I think the Goblins look like they would be fun to play. I honestly would get back more into WoW more for the Worgens though, but would rather them be on the Horde side ;)
