FF14 Trailer - Open Beta Start Date

Square has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XIV to coincide with the announcment of the open beta starting date.

The clip is a combination of both CGI and in-game footage, for a game of this scale the visuals truly are breath taking at times, especially when you combine them with the musical talent of Nobuo Uematsu.

The open beta is set to kick off on September 1st, with severs going live at 2.00am BST on Wednesday or August 31st 7:00pm on the west coast in the US.

The full release is set for the end of September, a mere 2 weeks after the open beta kicks off.

Check out the new Final Fantasy 14 Tokyo Game Show trailer below.

Only if you have one hour a day to spare

You know, not everything is about gaining exp in an mmo. There's lots of other things you can do that will still make you progress in the game.

...how every article about Final Fantasy XIV I still have to debunk this silly rumor.
That's not how the system works. There's no hard cap to how much you can exp. There's just a soft cap that can easily be avoided.
Here. Read how it works:

If you're spending more time leveling then you are at the level cap, you're doing it wrong.
