"For years E3 has been the go-to games convention for announcements. The North American market was the largest in the world so it made sense for companies to reveal their products at North America’s largest video game trade convention, E3. But, as the European market continues to grow the European trades shows are also gaining quite a reputation for big ticket announcements. What started with the German Games Convention in Leipzig has now moved on to GamesCom in Cologne. At that is the subject of this week’s 8-Bit Blog Top 8 Countdown. We’ll be looking at the top eight big announcements from the GamesCom 2010 in Cologne, Germany."
Our first look at Battlefield 6's factions will assuage fears for now, as there are no goofy-looking specialists that will ruin the experience.
The Outerhaven writes: At Summer Games Fest we were able to step into the ring and prove our worth in King of Meat.
Funcom: "Greetings Sleepers,
Dune: Awakening launched June 10th and 1,000,000 players have awakened! It’s now Funcom’s fastest selling game ever. To put it into perspective, it took Conan Exiles one year to reach this number. We’re truly humbled and thankful for this reception."
All Sony. I couldn`t name 1 360 game they showed that was exciting for me. Kinect ain`t my thang.
PS3 version of ME2 interested me but more i was shocked about new Ratchet game because i thought they show us first Resistance 3 and next year they'll announce new Ratchet
i think everyone saw ME2 coming to PS3
Insomniac owned GamesCom
was the megaton that was Mass Effect 2 coming to the PS3. Which is great news, but I've already got it for the Xbox360. I wouldn't mind buying it again just for the trophies, but that's a little silly. Plus I've got a save file on the 360 that goes back to the first Mass Effect, so I want to carry on all my own personal choices to the third title from the first. And I can't do that with a PS3 copy.
I think you'll find that portal 2 is released feburary 9 the day after my birthday
Was my favorite announcement (Even though I knew it was coming), but Resistance and Ratchet were a pleasant surprise!
