STP writes: "Splode's simplicity is a double-edged sword, since it is highly polished but lacks variety. Its bare-bones approach offers a soothing, mindless escape from reality that only lasts for a little while.
The goal is to create a chain reaction of exploding splodes, starting them off with a single explosion anywhere on the screen. In order to pass each level, you must activate a certain number of splodes".
TheAppera: “You see, few people realize that the world around us is a dark and quiet place. It’s all quite depressing actually! Thankfully for those of us that are afraid of the dark, the Splodes are here to bring music and light into our world! It’s an important job that the Splodes are eager to do.”
AppAdvice:
Your task is to brighten up the world from black and white to a color explosion. You do this by tapping once to initiate a chain reaction, and then having the splodes explode into each other. If the mechanic sounds similar to Sneezies that’s because it is the same type of chain reaction game that is an old flash idea anyway.
AppSpy: Splode is a quick, elegant and amazingly intuitive game to enjoy that only suffers from some replayability issues due to the randomness of the spawning orbs and its limited gameplay variety.
