I also enjoyed the first Mortal Kombat, along with the first Tomb Raider and Resident Evil movies. They were no masterpieces... I wouldn't even say they were good, just good enough to be entertaining. And sometimes that's all I expect from a movie: to be entertained and not having to think or give a meaning to what I just watched. Doom was also interesting in a "so bad that it's good" kind of way.

Most of all, this list needs more Uwe Boll. Alone in the Dark anyone?

BOTH mortal kombat movies were watchable at the least...i've seen both of them multiple times. they should not be on this list. there has to be worse.

Alone In The Dark as a series isn't bad. Why put it down just because of one flaky little game? I can understand you criticizing the movie, I hate it too. But you seriously can't believe the games are bad. First game had a better story all around. Rest of the sequels had stories on par with RE games.

While the Wing Commander movie sucked, I do not agree with the author saying the game sucked, too. Well for him, maybe, but Wing Commander, more particularly Wing Commander 2, made Sound Blaster a household name for PC's.

not the first one anyway. You can substitute it with Alone In The Dark by Uwe Boll, thanks you dummy for ruining my one chance to see my favorite game series on big screen. The game series is fine, well first few titles, anyone who disagrees really needs to get their head out of the water. Alone In The Dark paved the way for future 3D survival horror genre, such as Resident Evil. The first game had such a good storyline, even Boll couldn't have messed that up if he followed it. Or wait, maybe he could have.

O and first RE is a good movie, I don't know what happened with the sequels. I honestly can't imagine how anyone could have penciled those awful scripts for the rest.

The original Tomb Raider was more than just a game made by horny guys. It's one of the first third person action adventure/puzzle solving games ever! Prince of Persia Sands of Time, God of War. All owe a lot to the original Tomb Raider. It showed them the blueprint on how to make a third person style game with exploration, moving blocks and pulling levers to solves puzzles. It never gets any credit. Either it's overshadowed by Mario64 or the fact the lead character had T&A. It really deserves more credit. It's sad how people in industry treat it's legacy.

Alone in the Dark and The Legend of Chun Li are two of the worst movies I've seen in my life. I loved Mortal Kombat and All three Resident Evil movies.

and mortal kombat, resident evil and tomb raider were all successful enough to get a sequel, the fourth resident evil is on the verge of being released, and there is already talk of a fifth.
