Oh my God, I can't wait for this game. This is one of the reason The Old Republic worries me so much, the combat is boring as shit compared to games like this, TERA and Vindictus, and Guild Wars 2 has tons of voice acting as well. I think Star Wars went wayyyyy to traditional at a time when MMOs are about to have a renaissance. It feels outdated and it hasn't even been released yet.

You're completely right. Games like SWTOR look great and all but they're living in the past. The MMO genre has been extremely stagnant over the last decade. Games like TERA and Guild Wars 2 are pushing the envelope, while SWTOR still seems to be trying to beat World of Warcraft, a task which many others have already failed at. The sooner more devs try and make some entirely original, the sooner this genre can finally begin to move forward again.

Anet also announced the 5th expansion. "We’ve already started applying lessons from the development of Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure to our fifth expansion, which we expect to be released next year." From their site, been with this game since 1st beta, and announcing the 5th expansion so soon, the game is doing very well, plus the graphics are improved a bit now that it's on DX11🙃

Correct, and yes. Imo, they've done very well for themselves, and I'm very impressed with what they have achived with GW2 since the game launched.
