Castlevania: Harmony of Despair – Crush! Frag! Review!

CFD!'s John DeLuca goes vampire hunting with Summer of Arcade's third release, Castlevania: Harmony of Despair:

There's just something about the side-scrolling games that I don't like these days. I think it's the fact that I have to push up then quickly push forward if I want to go upstairs and things like that. Looking forward to the 3D version though :)

I honestly haven't played a Castlevania game since Super Castlevania on SNES. I almost feel like this makes me a bad person...

I dig the sidescrolling look of it and the multiplayer aspect. Lookin good!

Nice review. :) Old school style + coop = me happy. I'm just sad there's no local coop. I don't think my friends will pick this one so i'm stuck to playing it with strangers.

Reviews seem to be back and forth for this game. Some love it, others absolutely hate it. A Castlevania game seems easy enough to not screw up.
