GamerZines bring you some new information about Homefront, including PS3 chosen as lead platform on console development for “quality reasons”, controllable vehicles, franchise future and an estimated launch of early 2011.
My goodness. Glad to see PS3 getting such support.
i think in 'mafia ii missing grass case" was ps3 lead platform too :) so
ps3 port was done by some unknown small dev team.
PC port handed off to Massive Bear Studios, look it up.
so in this case...
NOT FORGET TOO: bio shock, bayonetta, gta 4, mw2, read dead... ps3 cannot handle some types of games that the 360 can. and too It’s TOO EXPENSIVE for developers to redesign the games to take full advantage of the ps3 hardware.
OH massive bear studios, yeah those geniuses also did the Turok ps3 version; great devs! /s
If you don' t know how the things are you should just STFU.
its like xbox 360 is losing its reigns on the console market all those ps3 is useless articles from 2006 just seem so much more sweeter i almost feel like going through google archives to all those ps3 hating websites and commenting
"its like xbox 360 is losing its reigns on the console market" We have this sh1t from you fanboys after every gaming convention, remember how Sony won E3 - Yet since then the sales hve spoken a different story On topic, they made the PS3 lead platform so that the game can have grass, buildings and even guns present!
"they made the PS3 lead platform so that the game can have grass, buildings and even guns present! " It's easy to spot a xbox fanboy. It's very well known PS3 pool of memory requires a careful planing and build the game from the ground up. PS3--> xbox ports are kinda straightforward, so using the PS3 as a lead platform is beneficial for everybody.
Game looks amazing and not like another Run and Gun Shooter, plus this is good news for all PS3 owners. Nobody want another Mafia 2. :D
Visually and gameplay wise I'm impressed, admittedly, I've been looking over this game but wow it got my attention like yesterday and wow, on my radar.
PS3 chosen as lead platform on console development for “quality reasons” im sold going to get it for sure
