Geohot is one man, and the only thing he could do was jailbreak a simple device (ipod touch), he is a beginner. C4eva is a professional, check his past work, and not only that but he has a team with him. These guys are going to go for it hard, and are going to force Sony to close the cracks. Those closed cracks are going to hurt us gamers, who knows what SONY will do.

Honestly, Sony is the last company that should be hacked. They work their asses off trying to do right by gamers. They shovel tons of money toward devs so that they can make some of the best games of all time, and to try and take that away is.....wrong. Besides, it's just going to hurt us gamers in the long run because they'll start taking away whatever feature they use as an exploit.

Multiplats are nothing to brag about. If both consoles can play the game then there's no point in bragging. 360 only owners don't get to play Killzone 3, GOW3, Uncharted2, LBP2, MAG, Socom, GT5, inFamous 2, Motorstorm Apocalypse and Resistance 3.

And there is a ZER0% chance that a single game I mentioned will ever see the light of day on the 360.

If you don't tell me who's responsible then the whole class will be punished! Sony's really out of the loop sometimes. With that said, I'd love to be able to run emulators on the Ps3. Xbox is a ruined POS with all the hacks for nearly every game out there. Can't even play a game of CODMW2 with out joining some retarded hack host that then spreads like a disease. Not to mention all the crazy things I've seen on Gears, all the COD's etc.

EDIT: this is my opinion but I seem to encounter the same shiz every time I play the box over my mates house. Just yesterday all his friends where going crazy trying some new 10th prestige hack on COD and it's just pathetic, once one person finds it 90% of Xbox users have tried the hack within a week. Not to mention the endless amount of hacking that goes down on nearly every leader board on Xbox live. It just gets even more pathetic the more you look into how much hacking goes on, on the Xbox. People pay for this hack fest of a console and then pay sub fees and it just astounds me how hard they will defend it.

The difference between this generation and the PS2 generation are the updates. Mandatory may I add! If you want to play burned games online, you will need CFW and simply hacking a BR drive won't do it.

If C4E and TeamJungle steps in, everything gets hacked. Its just a matter of (short) time now.

They just hacked the 360 Slim drive again also. And yes, this is the first time the firmware of the BluRay drive has been dumped. Now its dumped from both fat and slim PS3's, and C4E/TeamJungle jump in, expect it to be hacked for backups.

Those that say its impossible: anything gets hacked over time, the way Geohot dumped stuff was the hard way/total softmod, the way the drive firmware hack leads for 'backups' is the better way, easier to control than a total hack, but for homebrew its not a great hack.

Anyhow, I'm betting on a hack available to public before the end of 2010.
