I noticed this after playing both demos and I had people tell me that I was wrong and that they both run 60fps. Now what you got to say?

Same here, My introduction to gaming was on an RM text / print based computer playing "Adventure games", followed by the ZX81 etc, So i'm just as qualified as you, and I quite enjoyed KL2, I may not have played it if Square Enix (london) hadn't sent me both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions to review, Arcade mode is pretty kool and online is just manic fun..

Gawd can you really play this on console? It looks nasty on both. I cant stand all that horrid artifacting it looks like an SD game massively upscaled or a badly shot amateur video on worn out tape.

Worst demo I ever played in my life. Couldn't believe how it felt they were making out they were being clever with the shakey handicam BS wen all it was was a coat of digital panstick to hide some of the worst visuals this generation.

Hit detection was crap, shooting felt crap, aiming was dodgy at times and the cover mechanic worked when it felt like it. The version to get? I'd go for none-save your money(isn't even worth bargain bin entrance fee for getting a headache)and buy a game where the devs aren't laughing at you thinking how brilliant they were finding a way not to have to bother doing their jobs properly.

Honestly? I thought it was terrible(the demo), had a multitude of issues and that the film effects were there just to cover up how bad the game really looked underneath. Personally, I found it pretty insulting. But, y'know, if you like it that's fine-just my opinion but I find it hard to understand what you think wasn't that bad about it as I cannot think of a redeeming feature from that demo. Even the decent ideas(like the flimsier cover not working for you)were under used and never fully investigated (some thin cover failed and some worked-see?)and the core gameplay just wasn't good enough in the first place.

It's all about opinion, sure, I just don't get why anyone would have anything but a low one after playing the demo.

I'm surprised how massive the difference between the PC and Xbox 360 versions is. Usually it's small since the developers just port over the same assets from the console version to the PC.

Have you ever played a PC multiplat. I have only ever played maybe 2 true 'ports' aka cut and paste assets: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and X-Men: Wolverine.

99% of games are scaled down for the console's rather than up.

Everything from HUD, to inventory management, to draw distances, to effects, and even number of enemies on screen and difficulty level, is usually improved on he PC version.

how bad the pc version eats up the consoles....even at that shitty garbage 1998 resolution of 1280x720 it looks sooo much better....they should do a true comparison with the pc at the lowest res most pc gamers use of 1600x900....or what most serious gamers play at....1920x1080p.....

and ouch....another sub-hd game for consoles.....it's a shame they don't throw in the towel....this game is not even close to impressive visually and they still have to dial down the resolution just to get it to run....

You seem to be such a fanboy of the PC, If you were a serious gamer you'd realise that the comparison is flawed, How can you compare an upto date PC against console tech thats not changed in 5 years or more..
There are reports about that the Xbox 360 output is 1920x1080p and the PS3 outputs at just 720x568..

Now, stop thinking that because you own a PC "As we all do" that you are the only "gamer" on the planet!!
