SCEA Releases PlayStation Move ‘Launch Brochure’

PSLS writes: "The launch of the highly-anticipated PlayStation 3 motion controller, the PlayStation Move, is just over one month away. To prepare for the launch of the revolutionary new controller, Sony has released a PlayStation Move ‘Launch Brochure’ detailing everything you need to know about the PlayStation Move. The brochure includes a list of Move compatible titles which will be available by the holiday season, a motion controller comparison chart which compares the PlayStation Move to competitor’s motion controllers, a guide to help you decide which PlayStation Move configuration is correct for you, and much more..."

PlayStation Move seems to just look better and better as time goes on. I can't wait to play SOCOM and Killzone 3 with it personally, not to mention some of the great co-op integration as seen with LittleBigPlanet 2 and others.

To me it's what the Wii was supposed to be. A new take on gaming but with quality visuals. Immersion into the game world with a tactile experience.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head. PlayStation Move IS what the Wii promised to be years ago.

All of the Wii's shortcomings are made up for with the PlayStation Move.

I've had 2 of them now and the demo disc for over 24 hours and I've put plenty of time into all the games it offers. Plus I've played with Move at E3 and a couple PS Blog events.

Trust me, the PlayStation Move is everything it promises to be and more. I'm truly blown away by it.

The brochure won't capture the attention of those unaware of Move. The system comparison is great, but can we expect another round of Kevin Butler come September? When is the Coke campaign suppose the start? I just hope Sony promotes Move enough so it has a viable market well into 2011.

You tease! Have you played Tiger Woods 11 on it yet?

Too bad they don't seem to have a "Move Controller + Game" bundle...I already have the camera, so I wouldn't want to buy the complete Move bundle for 99$...Anybody know how much that Sports Champion's going to retail for?

harrisk9543107d ago

$39.99 (as are almost all Move launch titles).

harv0523107d ago

So 90$ for both...For an extra 10$, I get an extra camera...Bundle it is I guess...

blumatt3107d ago

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not but yeah. haha :) Anyway, I can't wait to buy a Move controller either so I can play Killzone 3 and LBP2 with it.

There needs - *NEEDS* - to be tons of "You Mom" jokes surrounding Move, but that's just not possible in this damn day and age.

Just too many fanboy who'd abuse it, or people who made them would be damned as fanboys.

I love how the males transform into these super-heroic versions of themselves, while the females just look a bit more aggressive and haggard.

sarshelyam3107d ago

A disagree for stating the obvious? I suppose you can disagree if you're blind...but that's just ridiculous.

SillySundae3107d ago (Edited 3107d ago )

... they would've transformed the lady into a super hero too
... BUT!!! ... I'm not sure if they allow that in table tennis

Bigpappy3107d ago

need to get the hype train moving. I see Move climbing up the pre-order charts on Amazon. This is a good sign that people are becoming aware of its pending release.

JakemanPS319943107d ago

i think they should have a price drop for the move. this is what i think sony should do.
40$ move controler; same price as wiimote without motion plus
20-25$ for nav controler
bundle with 2 moves for 100$
Ps3 bundle with move 120gb bundle for 300-350, and this would include a dualshock 3 2 moves, PSeye, and sports champion
is that a little to cheep?
